Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteering keeps us involved in life, which helps us to be happier and, therefore, healthier.  If you have been thinking about giving some of your time, Twin Towers has an abundance of opportunities for you.  Whether it is an ongoing commitment, fulfilling school service hours or a one-time project, we have an opportunity for you.  There are also tasks that require only minimal standing or walking or that can be done from a wheelchair or, we can design an activity to utilize your own special skills and interests.
  • Audio Visual Technicians:
    to assist with equipment during chapel services and other events within the Twin Towers community.  Hours are flexible between Mondays through Friday throughout the year. Training is available.
  • Day Stay Adult Day Services:
    assist with programs and events or share your time in fellowship with the adults participating in the program. Hours are flexible, Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
  • Store Assistants (Gifts & More):
    assist customers with purchases in the gift shop and generally maintain the store.  Hours are flexible, Monday through Saturday.
  • Friendly Visitors:
    share their time in companionship with individuals in our Health Services area whose family and friends are unable to visit on a regular basis. Hours are flexible and can be tailored to your schedule.
  • Appointment Escorts:
    assist residents to and from medical appointments, via provided transportation. Hours are scheduled as needed, weekdays only.
  • Greeters (Towers Desk):
    welcome guests to Twin Towers and offer directional assistance as needed.  Hours are scheduled as needed.
  • Data Entry Assistant (Volunteer Office):
    to enter volunteer information into the computer database. Some computer knowledge is preferred but not necessary. Hours are flexible, Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
  • Assisted Living and Memory Support Assisted Living:
    assist with programs and events or share your time in fellowship with individuals in the program. Sharing your talents of music and song, leading an art or craft program or facilitating a reading group are just afew of the opportunities. Bingo and cooking activities are favorites as well. Supplies are provided, hours are flexible and can be tailored to your schedule.
