Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteering our time and talents fulfills a need for others and keeps us involved in life, which keeps us happier and, therefore, healthier. If you have been thinking about sharing some of your time, Twin Lakes has an abundance of opportunities for you. Whether you’re looking for an ongoing commitment, want to fulfill school service hours or complete a one-time project, we can help. Listed below are only a few of the volunteer opportunities at our communities.
Greeters (McKinley Place Welcome Center) welcome guests to McKinley Place and offer directional assistance as needed.
Friendly Visitors share their time in companionship with individuals in McKinley Place. Opportunities include reading with those who have sight limitations or visiting with residents.
Events and Program Assistants help staff with bingo calling, cooking demonstrations, games and/or cards.
Hours are flexible for all volunteer positions and can be tailored to your schedule.
