Summer Playhouse Offers Old-Fashioned Fun
Enjoy an evening of old-fashioned fun with the Twin Towers Players. The show begins with “The Vaudevillians” who will dance, sing and perform comedy sketches in traditional Vaudeville style. After a brief intermission, the Melodrama “He Done Her Wrong” will be performed by the Twin Towers Players. This uproarious saga will keep you entertained as you follow the story of the pure but prosecuted heroine Hyacinth Haven, who falls into the evil clutches of the dastardly Fleetwood Dashaway. An evening of laughs is ensured!
Admission is free but a free will offering will be collected with proceeds to support the Twin Towers Pastoral Care Ministry Fund. For questions please contact Tom Reusch at (513)853-2009.

Summer Concert Series Begins at Twin Lakes
The second annual free outdoor Summer Concert Series begins this month. Bring your lawn chair, family and friends and come out to hear some of Cincinnati's favorite bands. If it rains we will move inside, except for the July concert which has a rain date.

The band BackTrack returns for the second year to entertain us with their wide selection
of songs from the 1950's through the 1990's. Kathy, John, Ric and Ken are talented musicians who will delight you with their songs and energy. Their motto is to 'perform to satisfy the guests' and that is exactly what they do!

The final band of the series is Cincinnati's 'Big Accordion Band,' Squeeze Play. They
perform across the region and are invited each year to Zinzinnati Oktoberfest. The players are versatile and can produce the traditional big band sound when they strap on the accordions be prepared to polka!

On the Road Again
Come along for the ride at the next Twin Lakes Breakfast Club where we will reminisce about the early days of motoring from the 1920's to the 1960's. Legend Lore presenter Ceci Wiselogel will recall the hilarious Burma Shave signs and roadside attractions that made the miles so enjoyable. Whale of a Sale!

by the Friends of Twin Lakes, this sale has items donated from 500 people. Residents and their families, Associates and their families all contribute 'stuff' to make this one Whale of a Sale. The annual event features books, furniture, clothing, kitchen ware, linens, jewelry, tools and decorative items. Proceeds from the sale benefit the Twin Lakes Benevolent Care and Pastoral Care funds. The sale will be held in the Twin Lakes garage (off of Perin Road) so inclement weather will not be a factor.
